RESUMEN

Delivery services are always on the go and working in this field impacts the students currently enrolled in the pandemic. This study explores the lived experiences of working students in delivery services in Manila, Philippines. Specifically, this phenomenological study investigates how they balance their workloads and school tasks simultaneously and the significance of online learning in their situation as working students. This study reveals that students tend to work for delivery services due to financial problems experienced by their families. The informants also showed that having a proper schedule is a big help to balance their work and studies. With the help of their peers, they thrive in balancing their education and delivery service careers. Moreover, the characteristics of the online learning identified by the informants of this study are deemed significant to their subjective experiences as delivery rider students.
